the whole “new civil rights movement” thing around immigrant rights kinda gets me sometimes.
i get it.
i do.
but it’s like folks forget that it’s also the “new immigrant rights movement”…
asian immigrants faced most of these same laws (some even more ridiculous and obscene) for a looooooong…
